Equality Means Everyone
At the White Equality Alliance, we believe in something simple: true fairness.
In today’s world, people are encouraged to take pride in their identity—and that’s a good thing. We hear phrases like Black Pride, Latino Pride, and Asian Pride used to celebrate heritage and community. These messages are often welcomed and respected.
But when someone says White Pride or White Power—even in a spirit of self-respect rather than superiority—it’s often met with discomfort or outright hostility. Why is that?
We understand that history has made this a sensitive topic. Certain phrases have been misused by hate groups, and that damage can’t be ignored. But at some point, we have to ask: If we’re serious about equality, doesn’t it have to apply to everyone?
Being anti-racist doesn’t mean shifting privilege—it means eliminating double standards. It means allowing every group to express pride in who they are without being automatically labeled.
We’re not here to diminish anyone. We respect the struggles that other communities have faced. But we also believe that fairness must be consistent.
So here’s where we stand:
-
If “Black Lives Matter” is accepted, then “All Lives Matter” should be too.
-
If cultural pride is healthy for one group, it’s healthy for all.
-
If dignity is a right, then no group should have to apologize for who they are.
We promote racial equality that includes everyone. No exceptions. No apologies. Just fairness.
